It's only been about a month of updates, and what an exciting month of one school year's worth of pictures it was. Well, even in that time I'm starting to run out of pictures. This means that I'll be needing to get myself some more pictures, so I'm off to lands unknown very soon. I'll basically be unavailable for a few weeks, but I'll be back soon enough with hopefully a better stockpile of images, from these lands beyond my comfort zones.
For the next week I'll probably be slowing down the amount of images I'm uploading, but I'll also be trying to get to those who've commented, given badges, favorited, and especially have watched throughout this time. I'm hoping to give back all the appreciation you've given me. But starting this Thursday or Friday I'll be unavailable for comments and there will be no uploads until mid-June.
If there are any pieces that you really would like me to look at, comment, critique, or endorse for any reason, I need to be told before Friday or you'll just have to wait up until June. I've already 44 works I'm eager to look at from those I'm watching, so my priority goes there unless you mention something.
For those who are tentative to comment on my works this may be a good time to speak up, remember I'm happy to accept criticism. One example of this is that on some of my portraits I used to have a problem of having sticks going through my subjects' heads and now that's rarely ever a problem. So really I'd appreciate your comments, I want to hear from you whether its about your works or mine, I'm just happy to learn from you.

A New Blog
No, I'm not leaving deviantART, nor do I plan to anytime soon. The blog I'm talking on is a new tumblr blog I created a month or so ago. The blog is focused on documentary and I've included at least one sample of one entry in my gallery.
So why did I create this blog? Well mostly because I was assigned to, but I also find it's a good way to sort out my different styles and phases. The blog I've created is for placing direct documentary stories onto it, for the moment I can't include my Thistle or Objects series as I need to keep it easy for my professor to more thuroughly assess my work, though I hope to include a link to these different
Learning the Basics
As you know I'm still working on that bachelor of arts, but there's still a lot I need to understand before I can get my BA in Photography. Unfortunately it takes up a bit of time. Currently I've just begun to understand the vast realm of color and the even finer point of value in the darkroom...kinda ironic isn't it. Let us not also forget the wonders of telling true stories with documentary photography. Hardest and, at times, most difficult is the history of Graphic Design. I myself like learning about it, but I pray we get out of this over emphasis on text and into the actual whole design and how about less papers and more experience
The Three Weakest Links Holding S.E. Back
Once again I find myself apologizing for the long absence but thanks to a comment made by Utaleasha, I find myself writing in my journal once more...
Two years ago some of you may recall that I wrote a poem called "How Could You?" (http://lyhsana.deviantart.com/art/How-Could-You-258290081). Unlike many of my other poems that are part of a series, this poem stood on its own. It had no music to sing to, no simple or sweet message, and no experimentation or spell check on it. It was written down as it was created.
Just reading the poem, you experience an emotion, an anger we are all familiar with, the feeling of betrayal. In the comments b
Time for a Short Break
As you may have noticed I'm not exactly being to frequent with my updates, part of that is due to the fact that I'm right now working completely out of my comfort zone. I'm learning the basics of 3-d design and let's just say, I hate planes. So far these sculptures have taken my blood (wire) and tears (planar) but I believe it will be the upcoming stone sculpture that will take my sweat. So for the next few weeks I may be a bit busy and be unable to do to many updates.
The only reason I'm doing this is so I don't go to the counter and smash my current sculpture that stands for everything I oppose in my art, straight lines. I don't do str
